I'm not sure how we do it. After . . . well, I don't want to get into too much detail, but let's just say I found I can see where she's coming from enough to be unsure of whether I really want to defeat her in arguments. So I decided that when we can't simply avoid the issues we disagree on altogether, I can see her as something like an adviser you don't agree with but keep around to help you understand issues more fully. I’m glad there are other people out there like me.
