Hmm, I liked the first one, but I don’t know about this one. What every consumer of health insurance receives from the insurance company is stability, a reduction in risk. You pay a small amount of money the majority of the time so that you don’t lose a large amount of money a minority of the time. Businesses do this themselves all the time by using hedging strategies.
Nothing charitable in any way is meant by insurance.
