You can’t centrally-plan an economic system any more than you can centrally-plan an ecosystem.
(I think this helps you see the idea at the heart of free-market economics. If you understand the economy as a kind of “natural world,” then you come to the conclusion that trying to force it to run by artificial “laws” is foolhardy.)
(I’m skeptical of talk of “systems,” but I do agree that thinking some human or humans are smart enough to design and run an economy is as prideful and strange as thinking that some human or humans are smart enough to design a world and run it.)
