“You’re all individuals!”

Every American is an independent thinker.
-commercial for CNN political coverage (CNN has some kind of theme about “Independence” going, or something)
Reminds me of the theme song from the PBS kids’ cartoon, “Arthur”:
Every day when you’re walkin’ down the street
Everybody that you meet
Has an original point of view
(PS You get 2 Coolness Points if you know from whence comes the quotation which is the title of this post, and another 2 Coolness Points if you know the line which follows.)

“Yes, we’re all individuals.”
“You’re all different.”
“Yes, we’re all different.”
“I’m not.”
Well, Andrew beat me to it, but I knew the reference and scene. Probably because we watched them together. :D
*grin*
Well, 3 Coolness Points to Mr. Stevens, since he did provide the lines which followed. But not the full 4 Coolness Points because he didn’t actually say the movie title.
Fortunately, if we’re grading on a 4-point scale, that means Mr. Stevens gets a “B,” which, at The Catholic University of America, means “Good.” (Or vice versa. “Failing” = F, “Passing” = D, “Satisfactory” = C, “Good” = B, “Excellent” = A.)
And I’ll give the left-over 1 Coolness Point to my wife, who seems to have just claimed to have seen the movie with Mr. Stevens.
Strange.
:-)
Can’t leave the two people who have never seen the movie in suspense. The movie was Monty Python’s “Life of Brian.”
I’m not sure if Monty Python is cool. Perhaps in a geek chic sort of way.
Thank you.
