I’m not one of those people who sees phallic imagery (would that be “phallicity”?) everywhere. But I’m suspicious of this advertisement that just showed up in my Yahoo! Mail sidebar:
As opposed to someone else’s? As opposed to letting someone else do it for you, like you’ve been doing up to this point? As opposed to just using a stick?
What are they saying?
What does “dangling a carrot” mean anyway? That’s a weird add. If I wanted to build a career I think I would just be confused by it.
