After their editorial “We’re (Still) No. 1” won a WEeding Award on Sunday for, among other lines, the following:
The Soviets were going to bury us, remember? We buried them.
. . . it seems the Investor’s Buisness Daily editors have come to their collective senses. Yesterday “they” wrote:
Reagan is reputed to have nodded off at cabinet meetings, and all he did was pull off an economic renaissance and defeat communism.
See, it wasn’t that hard to give credit where credit was due, now was it?
