Ralph Peters Goes WEedless, with Wondrous Results

After writing a WEedy-winning piece last week, Ralph Peters has a new piece up about how the media are not reporting the success of American and Iraqi troops in Iraq.
Other than the news itself which he is reporting, note the following:
(1) He clearly identifies who is responsible for what, both good and bad.
(2) As a consequence, the piece has a much more even-keeled emotional tone. It’s still emotional, but this time there’s no desperation. (This is much easier to accomplish when you’re not equating yourself — through WEeds — with the people who are inviting the doom of America.)
WEeding your thinking will do wonders. Mr. Peters is just the latest in a long string of success-stories. (Or something.)
