Songs You Can’t Play on the Radio Anymore

I was saddened to learn recently that Shania Twain is getting divorced. It means I’ll feel weird whenever “You’re Still the One” starts playing in the grocery store. I hate country music (for reasons I have yet to fully figure out), but that’s a catchy song. And it’s kind of sweet.
It reminds me of Gary Chapman’s, “One of Two.” Fantastic song. Gary Chapman has (had?) a way with music. (His “Man After Your Own Heart” is incredible.) But you’ll notice that he ends “One of Two” with the line, “Amy, we are one of two.”
“Amy” is, of course, Amy Grant. Who divorced him to marry Vince Gill, I believe.
So there are two songs you can’t play on the radio anymore.
But, then again, can you really play “Fight for Your Right” by the Beasties anymore, now that they’ve become serious, anti-war political types? Can you play their song “Girls” after their (warning: profanity) feud with The Prodigy?
And can you play Sheryl Crow’s “All I Wanna Do,” now that she’s converted to environmentalism? What about her, “If It Makes You Happy“? Or “Soak Up the Sun“?
Can you play any of The Smiths’ old tunes now that Morrissey has gone political?
And who would’ve thought the band who wrote (warning: profanity, adolescent themes) “Longview” would be the featured act at the Christian rock show at the beginning of The Simpson’s Movie. (American Idiot changed everything, didn’t it?)

also, amy winehouse’s “rehab” since she finally went
How could I forget that one! *kicks self* I wonder what other ones I’m forgetting . . . .
Thanks Seamus!
Just to clarify for a minute….Morrissey was political BEFORE he went solo. How much more political is his solo stuff than “The Queen is Dead”. He had a title track album called ” Meat is Murder”…c’mon now. Most of his lyrics in the The Smiths still hold true to how he is portrayed now which is more than 20 years later. I liked the rest of your points but PLEASE learn a little more about Moz before you go throwing his name into a category.
*grin* Clarifications are good. Thanks!
