Tillman, Obama Worshiper

Says Josh Miller.
Well, I did call him (Obama, not Mr. Miller) the messiah in today’s article.
You know how it is.
Fortunately, Mr. Miller and I agree on who the real Messiah is.
*grin*

At least there’s that! Heh :)
It’s interesting that even when I think I’m being completely over the top, I still come across as serious. What’s wrong with me?
*laugh*
I really need to work on my humor in my articles, I think.
Practice, practice, practice . . . .
In case anyone was wondering, btw, here’s what I think of Obama.
Aww, poor boy. I knew what you meant and thought it was a funny article. But then I get to hear you say all this kind of thing aloud and I actually know what you think about…pretty much everything. So it’s easy for me to tell when you’re just being silly.
I’ll add…it’s not you, it’s the Obama-ites. They make it hard to write satire because their material could almost be satire. And I’ll probably vote for him. But not because he’s “change we can believe in.”
I read your piece again, and it IS actually quite hilarious. Instead of, you know, infuriating. :-) At least I was correct in one thing: it truly is the most ridiculous thing people will read all month :-)
But your wife is dead-on. It’s extremely hard to do a straight-up satirical post on Obama when his goofy followers have proven that nothing is too much in terms of what they’ll gush on about. So, while I certainly feel like a dolt for missing the humor before, this at least softens the blow :-).
LOL
LOL
I went and left a comment over there, too…..
LOL
I getcha, friend.
LOL
@Josh, oh it’s definitely ridiculous. 100% right on that.
While a certain contingent of the Obamaniacs do take their support a few steps past sanity, I wouldn’t begrudge faithful democrats their enthusiasm for a candidate who isn’t a centrist compromise, Tweedledum to the GOP’s Tweedledee, or just plain boring. I mean, after Gore (the old version) and Kerry in the last two rounds, who can blame ‘em?
@Seb, I’m totally excited about Obama in a very chill way. It’s nice to see someone interesting running. It’s nice to see someone who might win. It’s nice to see someone who makes the party look good (though I couldn’t bring myself to register for the Democrats either).
Some people just seem a bit…scary.
So many people are very emotionally invested in Obama (both pro and con)…*that’s* scary.
