When I’m with my grandparents (any of the 5 of them) I often find myself thinking about the technological/medicinal advancements made since they were young.
Then I start to wonder how barbaric the technology and medicine of today will look when I get to be their age.
hehe. Makes me think of Harry Potter. :D
Yes. Yes indeed. I hadn’t thought of that.
And Galadriel & Co. gave the Fellowship cloaks that had much the same effect. Though I think they worked more as camouflage than actual invisibility.
And then, of course, there’s The Ring itself. (Modeled, in its invisibility powers, on the even-more-ancient Ring of Gyges, no doubt.)

That’s another angle I hadn’t considered. Poor ninjas!
But, then again, Clay Aiken could drop the “if” from his song. And that might make him feel better about his love life.
I wonder which frequencies it will bend. Imagine if they could bend the entire EM spectrum. Wow!
