NRO Admits to Killing People

The reason why discussions about war are impossible to hold with any civility is that statements like the following — even from supporters of whatever war is in question — so often get said:
Kathryn Jean Lopez: “We have killed people in Iraq, after all.”
Ms. Lopez is the editor of National Review Online. I usually agree with her considered opinions (I think; from what I can remember; as far as I know). And she’s always seemed like a nice person to me.
But here she is simply, and very unhelpfully, wrong.
(Her post would win a WEedy, if I had the time to make up a new Volume. But I don’t, unfortunately.)
