Barney Frank says that the Dems are having a hard time “increasing the role of government in the regulatory area” because “the Right Wing took control of government and ruined it — gave it a bad reputation.”
Oh for the days when government had a good reputation!

I’m glad you included, “…in the regulatory area” in your quotation. I saw a few news sources that left that important clause out, which complete alters the meaning. But yeah, I see your point.
