Recently someone got to my blog through a search for:
pronunciation and meaning of the word archive
Reminded me of Jacques Derrida’s Archive Fever, which I haven’t read.

The “ch” in “archive” is pronounced like a “K” or “hard C” (as in “kept,” “cap,” “candle,” “kind”), and the stress/emphasis/accent is on the first syllable:
