It did indeed, and it made me strangely happy. I think it was because it made it feel like the world hadn’t ended yet. Nature was still winning against “global warming.” Less to feel guilty about.

Here’s my hypothesis:
The astrophysicists who claim that global warming is caused by solar activity (e.g., this team) were getting all the press, so the other ones had to come up with a way to cash in on the crisis.
Hence this:
